New Functionality
This release includes the following new functionality:
-
Multiple workspaces: Workspaces now supports multiple workspaces for each user. This allows users to visualise and explore a larger number of performance insights and expand their visibility across the organisation. After clicking the Workspace button to open the Workspaces area, click the My Workspace drop-down to view another workspace or create, rename or delete a workspace.
-
Single backend: Each Pronto Xi Web Server instance is now bound to a single backend Pronto Xi server. Pronto Xi 740.1 introduced this as an infrastructure requirement for using Workspaces and Enterprise Search, but did not enforce it. As a result, users are not required to enter a server when logging into the Web Interface.
-
Session management: All Pronto Xi sessions running in a single HTTP session now use the same Pronto Xi user and do not require multiple logins. For Google Chrome, all windows and tabs share a single HTTP session, with the exception of Incognito mode. When a user logs out of Pronto Xi, they now have the option of logging out from all Pronto Xi sessions.
